The Alberta Ecosystem Services Grant Program is now accepting applications for the 2026-27 funding year, creating a great opportunity for landowners interested in improving wildlife habitat while making the most of marginal areas on their property.
The Chinook Chapter of Pheasants Forever is looking to connect with landowners who may be interested in developing habitat projects through this program. We’re especially interested in properties with areas that border wetlands, waterbodies, coulees, draws, or other natural habitat features. Smaller, hard-to-farm areas that are difficult to seed, spray, or access with large equipment may also be excellent candidates.
