Using grant funds received from the Alberta Conservation Association, Chinook Pheasants Forever has planted 1350 more shrubs at the Sauder Reservoir Habitat Project. This project is on SMRID land along Sauder Reservoir. Funds were also provided from ACA to water the shelterbelt throughout the summer.
This project is part of ACA’s Connectivity Project where land owned by SMRID is being managed to improve water quality along reservoirs managed by SMRID. One of the benefits of this project is improvement in wildlife habitat.
